Jereh Group's wholly-owned subsidiary, Sichuan Jereh Hengri Natural Gas Engineering Co., Ltd. (Jereh Hengri), and Alxa League Yingtong Energy Co., Ltd. (Alxa Yingtong) have officially signed a cooperation agreement to build a LNG plant with an annual production capacity of 1.2 million tons in Alxa League. This project is not only a key construction project for Alxa League in 2025 but will also, by virtue of its scale and comprehensive energy consumption advantages, become a core hub for the stable supply of clean energy in the region.

According to the plan, the project will be constructed in two phases. Once fully completed, it will become the largest single-scale LNG plant in China, serving as an integrated energy base that combines LNG/CNG production and transportation with pipeline natural gas transmission. The first phase, which has already commenced, includes the construction of a natural gas liquefaction unit with an annual capacity of 600,000 tons, along with supporting facilities such as gas transmission pipelines and a CNG mother station. According to the schedule, the first-phase project is expected to be officially put into operation in September 2026.

As a crucial component of Alxa League's energy strategic layout, the operation of this project will vigorously promote the optimization of the regional energy structure. Furthermore, it will provide stable and clean LNG gas sources for Inner Mongolia and surrounding areas such as Ningxia and Gansu, thereby supporting the transition of the northwest regional energy system towards green and low-carbon development.

During project execution, Jereh Hengri will fully leverage its EPC general contracting capabilities in the field of natural gas liquefaction, efficiently integrating and meticulously managing all aspects of design, procurement, and construction. Notably, the project adopts an advanced liquefaction process independently developed by Jereh Hengri, which not only enhances overall plant operational efficiency but also provides core technological support for building an efficient, clean, and reliable energy supply system in Alxa League.
