On July 7, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Jereh Group, Sichuan Jereh Hengri Natural Gas Engineering Corp., (Jereh Hengri), has successfully started production of the 2.4 million cubic meters per day LNG project of Inner Mongolia Yingtong Energy Co. (Inner Mongolia Yingtong) 2.4 million m³/d LNG project, which Jereh Hengri applied as EPC contractor.

As a clean energy pioneer project in the eastern part of Inner Mongolia, the project is expected to produce more than 500,000 tons per year, with an annual output value of up to 2 billion yuan, which can significantly optimize the regional energy structure, provide a stable and reliable gas source for the LNG filling stations in northern China (Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei-Shandong-Shanxi-Inner Mongolia and so on), as well as for the industrial users, and strongly drive the regional economic development. More importantly, as a clean energy project, it will promote the greening process of regional transportation, significantly reduce carbon emissions, and provide a solid boost for China to achieve the goal of “carbon peak, carbon neutral”.

The smooth production of the project can not be separated from Inner Mongolia Yingtong and Jereh Hengri on the basis of the same goal of sincere cooperation and close synergy, the two parties through efficient linkage to ensure the smooth progress of the project and successful implementation.

It is noteworthy that the project adopts the advanced liquefaction process which is independently researched and developed by Jereh Hengri, which not only can effectively improve the future operational efficiency of the plant, but also provides strong support for the construction of an efficient, clean and reliable energy supply system in Inner Mongolia.
